The Samapleu nickel-copper project, situated in Ivory Coast, West Africa, is the flagship project of the company. Encompassing an area of over 700 square kilometers, it boasts a high-grade nickel-copper-cobalt deposit. Sama Resources Inc. owns 70% interest in the Samapleu nickel-copper project in Ivory Coast, with its joint venture partner Ivanhoe Electric owning 30%. The project is located approximately 600 km northwest of Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire and straddles both sides of the Ivorian and Guinean borders, forming a 125 km long new Base Metal Camp in West Africa.

The metallurgical test results for the combined Grata and Samapleu deposits have been encouraging, lending support to the revised Preliminary Economic Assessment for 2023. The copper recovery rate of 90.5% achieved, yielded a copper concentrate grading 24.8% copper, 1.7g/t platinum, and 6.9g/t palladium. The nickel recovery rate of 64.2% resulted in a nickel concentrate containing 13.9% nickel, 2.2g/t platinum, 8.1g/t palladium, and 0.59% cobalt. These concentrates have attractive nickel and copper grades for sale to smelters and are expected to contain payable amounts of platinum, palladium, and cobalt.
